About stoke
                     Stoke is a restaurant with a deep appreciation for the tradition and craft of Japanese cuisine. Our yakitori and kushiyaki skewers are cooked directly over binchotan charcoal and served with seasonal side dishes.

Located in a 1900’s steel-and-concrete building in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district, we can welcome guests at either the kitchen counter or our dining tables. 
the story 
                     Stoke is the expression of a vision shared between three friends, Jeffrey Claudio, Jessica Tan, and Niklas Harmsen, that borrows from what we love most about eating in Japan and makes those ideas at home in Europe.

Good things take time. From our choice of construction materials to the team we are building, we are creating a restaurant with longevity in mind.
